18/06/2000 - Four classic races make it the big event, the richest day of the year on the track of Paris-Vincennes.
A day to mark with three white stones (as we say in french, sometimes!). Idéal de l'Iton (CYGNUS D'ODYSSEE) frankly wins Prix du Président de la République (Gr.1), Jarifante Speed (AND ARIFANT) pushes Jardy to gallop in Prix d'Essai (Gr.1) and Juliano Star (BUVETIER D'AUNOU) easily captures Prix Capucine (Gr.1).

GOETMALS WOOD is placed again at the highest level, as a third to Général du Pommeau, terrific winner(1' 11" 3) of the Prix René Ballière (Gr.1).
BUVETIER D'AUNOU complete this démonstration with Isério and Gros Grain, winners of the main Prix de Nesles and Prix de Grasse.
COKTAIL JET had initiated it, in the first race of the day, with the chestnut colt In Foot, handsome winner against good performers.

10/06/2000 - Once again remarkable at the highest level, GOETMALS WOOD (1' 12" 4) finishes 3rd close to Fan Idole (1' 12" 2) and Varenne in the First Race of the World Cup 2000 (Gr.2 - Int. - 2 100 m autostart).
In Prix Paul Leguerney (Sc. - 2 100 m autostart), Install (BUVETIER D'AUNOU) looses his duel (1' 13" 2) against the champion Ipson de Mormal (1' 12" 9).
On his side, Gobernador (BUVETIER D'AUNOU) is an easy winner again. This time, it was in Prix de Mamers.
Outside Paris also, his "J's" can't stop winning. Earlier, this week, it was the turn of Jingle Jet and Jeu Baroque.

02/06/2000 - IDEAL DE L'ITON (CYGNUS D'ODYSSEE), wise winner of Prix Lavater (Gr.2 Sc. - 2 700 m), last semi-classic race before Prix du Président de la République.

28/05/2000 - VICTORY TILLY, imperial winner of the Elitloppet 2000, in front of Général du Pommeau, Fan Idole, Frisky Frazer and Varenne. Giesolo de Lou dislikes the last turn : he was disqualified, like in 1999. Ganymède has not been able to qualify himself for the final race.

Always at Solvalla, Ivory Pearl (1st) and Island Dream (2nd) both by COKTAIL JET, and Obelix Laukko dominates the two other main international races on the mile : Fyraaringseliten and Singapore Airline Cargo Trot.

17/05/2000 - Aside IDEAL DE L'ITON, JARDY is the second champion "monté" given to us by CYGNUS D'ODYSSEE. This afternoon, at Caen, in Saint-Léger des Trotteurs (Gr.1), he defeats 17 3-y-o's, the best of them being Jorade and Joe l'Amoroso.

10 days before Solvalla! In Prix des Ducs de Normandie, a Dubois hat-trick has been featured, GIESOLO DE LOU impressively winning against GOETMALS WOOD and GANYMEDE .

13/05/2000 - A solar day for BUVETIER D'AUNOU, winning Sire of both of the semi-classic races, today. In Prix Ozo (Sc.), his daughter JUST LIKE THAT appeared much faster than Jeanne's Fella (COKTAIL JET). What a reference!
Prix Kalmia (Sc.) - the colts race : JULIANO STAR, wisely racing along the rail, waited the last hundred meters to dominate Jitterburg. Frankly! As a real race-horse!

By the same Sire, Gobernador and Gratifying, getting tougher and tougher during the last weeks, could realize a pretty career. Later, this afternoon, they easily bet the field in Prix du Mans (2 100 m - autostart - 300 000 FF). 1' 13" 9!

08/05/2000 - Jolie Récompense, Jugette and Jefferson Cherry, all three by BUVETIER D'AUNOU, were nice winners, respectively at Alençon, Le Mans and Cholet. In the spring and summer, provincial tracks are often used to give protective courses to good 3-y-o's!
Jarri du Vivier (AND ARIFANT) was also brought home first, at La Capelle.

06/05/2000 - Critérium des 4 Ans (Gr.1 - 2 850 m) : Ivilla Blue and Install (BUVETIER D'AUNOU), Ivory Pearl, In Foot and Island Dream (COKTAIL JET), Idéal de l'Iton ( CYGNUS D'ODYSSEE), Infant du Bossis and Ibis Blue (AND ARIFANT), against Insert Gédé, Ipson de Mormal and Itou Jim, particularly. Great race at Vincennes! Big event!
INSTALL, nice second of the superb sprinter IPSON DE MORMAL. The ultimate meters of In Foot, placed 5th, have impressed.

Later, in Prix Albert Demarcq (Sc. - 2 700 m), Hugo du Bossis (AND ARIFANT) is beaten by Hermès du Péricard ; HERMES DU BUISSON (2 725 m) is a brilliant 4th.

30/04/2000 : GANYMEDE, always chasing behind Gisella du Gîte, is a remarkable 2nd in Critérium de Vitesse de Basse-Normandie (250 000 FF - 1 609 m - Gr.3). 1' 11" 3 for the mare! GOETMALS WOOD, again unhappy number one behind the autostart, is fifth.

Invitto, a blue chip at 3, is now gelding. His win, later this afternoon, should not be the last one.

In Finland, GIESOLO DE LOU, impressive winner (1' 11" 2 - 1 609 m) in Finlandia Ajo (Gr.1), has easily defeated Elitloppa and Baron Pepper.

25/04/2000 : Prix d'Europe at Milano. Will Island Dream (COKTAIL JET), disqualified and Install (BUVETIER D'AUNOU) 6th, race in the next Critérium des 4 Ans, may 7th at Vincennes? At Milano, Zucchero OM easily won (2 100 m aut. - 1' 13" 2).

A bay colt by DEFI D'AUNOU and BAHAMA is born!

22/04/2000 : Prix de l'Atlantique. Great winner of the last year edition, GANYMEDE, the fastest horse during the first meters, realizes his come back with a view to the next great scandinavian dates and is finally placed sixth to a really pretty Fan Idole. GOETMALS WOOD has been disqualified in the first turn.

21/04/2000 : a semi-classic evening at Vincennes, main repetition before Criterium des 4 ans, scheduled beginning of may. IVORY PEARL (COKTAIL JET) and Ivillla Blue (BUVETIER D'AUNOU) dominate the fillies' race, Prix Gaston de Wazières at Vincennes (2 100 m - Sc.). Install, who will race on tuesday's night in Prix d'Europe at Milano (in company of Island Dream), and Insert Gédé, the two charismatic leaders of the french "I", have let Prix Gaston Brunet to Ipson de Mormal, nice winner of an excellent Ibis Blue (AND ARIFANT).

18/04/2000 : third win for Just Like That (BUVETIER D'AUNOU - Slave), 1' 18" 5 in Prix Arachne at Vincennes (2 200 m - 230 000 FF). A new pearl for a great Sire!

15/04/2000 : Jardy ( CYGNUS D'ODYSSEE) is third in Prix Hémine (Scm.).
Last week, Varenne has won his second duel against Général du Pommeau in Olympiatravet at Aby and his half-brother Agraz by BUVETIER D'AUNOU is qualified in 1' 18" 6 at Palermo (see Paris-Turf).

08/04/2000 : Many excellent young horses all along the afternoon at Vincennes, mainly in the three semi-classic events. Eight colts and fillies by the Dubois Sires have competed. The main award goes to JEANNE'S FELLA (COKTAIL JET), winner of Prix Masina (Sc.), Jessamina (COKTAIL JET) being fourth for her first try at this level.
Confirming his Critérium, Juliano Star (BUVETIER D'AUNOU) is second in Prix Paul Karle (Sc.). Regular and efficient, Ivilla Blue (BUVETIER D'AUNOU) is third to an astonihing Insert Gédé (1' 13"9 - 2 700 m), in front of INCREDIBLE CHARM in Prix Phaeton (Sc.).

05/04/2000 : Just Like That (BUVETIER D'AUNOU), twice winner at Enghien and Angers and a wise third place. Today was Angers! This filly definitely shows an important potential.

25/03/2000 : HUGO DU BOSSIS (AND ARIFANT) adds a second semi-classic win to his main performances in Prix Robert Auvray (Sc. - 2 700 m). Half an hour before, Jessamina, a filly by COKTAIL JET, has easily controlled her race.
